Green Apple Chinese Art School and ThinklandAI team up to offer AI courses, opening the door of wisdom for children

Last Saturday, Dr. Mike Liu, the founder of ThinkLand AI, together with Green Apple Chinese Art School, provided parents with a detailed introduction to the AI courses we are offering this summer. AI, as a popular topic, is gradually becoming a trend. The core goal of this collaboration is to spark children's interest and enthusiasm for future technology through engaging and practical learning content, helping them build a solid foundation in technology as they grow.

Teacher Mike introduced that our courses include diverse programming and AI learning options, ranging from basic Scratch programming to advanced Python+AI applications, suitable for students of different age groups and technical levels. Beginners can easily understand the basic concepts of AI through Scratch and Scratch+AI courses; for students with some programming foundation, the advanced Python+AI course will delve into the core algorithms and applications of machine learning. The courses adopt a project-oriented teaching method, allowing students to learn and apply AI technology through real projects, cultivating innovative thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, our courses focus on developing students' computational thinking, teamwork abilities, and engineering literacy, enabling them to combine programming with practical applications such as IoT and game design. These rich learning contents not only provide strong support for children to participate in various programming competitions but also lay a solid foundation for future academic and career development.

During the lecture, Teacher Mike also enthusiastically answered various questions from parents about programming learning. He emphasized that learning programming is a gradual process. Our basic courses aim to help children understand the logical relationships between programming languages, from initial recognition and understanding to gradually mastering and applying them. Through these courses, children will build a solid programming foundation step by step, preparing for more advanced technical learning in the future. Teacher Mike pointed out that this gradual learning method not only allows children to easily get started but also maintains their interest and enthusiasm for programming throughout the learning process.

In addition to rich courses, a special feature of our AI project is that we will help cultivate children to become our AI teaching assistants, becoming part of the course. As volunteer teaching assistants, children will have the opportunity to participate in teaching, assist teachers in guiding students, answering questions, and accumulating valuable teaching experience. By assisting in course design and teaching activities, they will lay a solid foundation for future career development. Meanwhile, children can deeply learn and apply the latest AI technology in the process of helping others, participating in project-driven learning activities, helping other children complete real AI projects, and learning how to apply theory to practice.
